For Months, People of Shyam Nagar have been suffering from bad road conditions in the area. Everytime there are rains, the entire road turns into a quagmire. It is difficult to walk and there's a very high chance of vehicles to slip and cause life threatening injuries. It has been many years but the problem is just getting worse. The city government has acknowledged it many times but failed to take necessary steps. Since years, around the time of the winters, Jind has been suffering with a ubiquitous amount of pollution. So much, that Jind was ranked in Top 20 Most Polluted Cities of the World in 2021. The main contributing factors of increasing pollution in jind are stubble burning, crackers around diwali and dussehra whose smoke after mixing the fogs, makes smog.No step has been taken until now to combat this problem.
